Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

The journal publishes (after reviews) original research papers (max 10 pages), review articles and short communications (notes).

Submission of an article is understood to imply that the article is original. Written permissions for reproduction of figures and tables from unpublished or copyrighted materials are needed.

Please submit your article via Open Journal System and let us know if You don’t receive the confirmation.

Authors are asked to transfer copyright of their articles to the Publisher. In order to transfer copyright, authors should accept the License Agreement by checking the box in an appropriate stage of uploading the paper in the system. The contribution of all co-authors should be estimated – percentage of author`s work declarationshould be filled, signed and attached as an additional file.

Manuscripts should be clearly and grammatically written in British English. Papers should be prepared in the format of popular Windows text editors (11 points, single interline, 1.27 cm margins, with line numbers). Every page of the paper, including the title page, text, references, tables and figures should be numbered. SI units should be used.

Manuscript should be organized in the following order:

  • Title
  • Author(s) name(s)
  • Affiliations
  • Full postal addresses
  • Corresponding author’s e-mail
  • Abstract (up to 200 words)
  • Keywords (up to 5 words)
  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusions (numbered)
  • References
  • Tables
  • Figures and their captions

Title should be informative and concise.

Abstract should not contain any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references. The abstract should be self-contained presenting all items of the paper’s subject with the results obtained and emphasizing the conclusions most important from the scientific point of view.

A combined Results and Discussion section can be also appropriate.

Figures should be placed out of the text (after References and Tables, on separate pages) The smallest font size of the text on figures is 7 points, after rescaling to the width of 132 mm. The captions should be typed directly under the Figures. Figures should be numbered according to their sequence in the text. All explanations should be given in the figure caption. Drawn text in the figures should be kept to a minimum. Capitalize and abbreviate ‘figure’ when it is used with a number (Fig. 1). Please additionally prepare Figures in common image format like jpg, bmp, tiff, cdr (300 dpi) and upload to the system as additional files.

Tables should be placed out of the text (after References) and should not exceed the width of 132 mm. They should be numbered according to their sequence in the text. The text should include references to all tables. Vertical lines should not be used to separate columns. Capitalize the words ‘table’ when used with a number (Table 1). The font size of the content should be 9 points.

Citing

The author-year system for the cited References (max 5 positions in the one place) should be used in the text.

References list should be arranged alphabetically by the name of the first author and then others. Two or more articles by the same author(s) should be listed chronologically; two or more in the same year should be indicated by the letters: a, b, c, etc. Please include digital object identifier (DOI) if possible.

References list should be in English, French, German or Spanish. Languages of the titles of the papers other than the aforementioned should be marked e.g. (in Russian), (in Spanish), etc., for example:

Leave ample space around equations. Subscripts and superscripts must be clear. Equations should be numbered serially on the right-hand side in parentheses. Capitalize and abbreviate ‘equation’ when it is used with a number Eq. (1). Spell out when it begins a sentence. Symbols for physical quantities in formulae and in the text should be in italics. Algebraic symbols are printed in upright type.

Copy editing of paper is performed by the staff of the Editorial Office. A set of page proofs will be sent to the corresponding author for checking. The proofs should be returned at first convenience.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal. Additionally, you have ready to attach with your article signed percentage of author`s work declaration.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
