Public Ethics Statements

In a whole procedure of publishing all persons involved proceed with agreement to ethics statements developed by the Committee of Publication Ethics (COPE) – Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Editor responsibilities

–  The manuscripts submitted for publication are evaluated in terms of substance and editorial level. Others factors such as: race, gender, sexual orientation, religious believe, citizenship of the Authors are disregarded.

–  The Editor and Editorial Staff members are oblique to keep a secret about a submitted manuscript to anyone except Reviewers.

–  Unpublished materials cannot be used by any member of the Editorial Staff in their own research.

–  Decision about acceptance of article for publication is made by Editorial Committee on the basis of the subject importance, correlation with topics of the journal and originality of the presented results.

–  In the case of accepted manuscript Editorial Committee can introduce necessary linguistic corrections into the text after their acceptance by Authors.

Reviewer responsibilities

–  Reviewers play basic role in the decision process concerning the publication of article. The number and type of corrections introduced into article is finally established after discussion between the Authors and Reviewers.

–  Reviewers cannot reveal the text of manuscript to any third party.

–  Reviewers should complete their reviews to definite date.

–  Reviewers should call to the Editors any substantive and calculation errors, insufficient referencing and any substantial similarity with any other published articles.

–  Personal criticism of the Author by Reviewers is inacceptable.

Author responsibilities

–  Authors should submit for publication only their own, original manuscripts. Any borrowings from the text of others should be appropriately cited.

–  Authors are not allowed to submit manuscripts published previously in other journals.

–  All Authors of submitted manuscript should be real participants in its preparation process.

–  The authors are obliged to disclose any detailed data of all coworkers which participated in preparation of the manuscript including financial partners.

–  All sources of financial support presented in the manuscript should be disclosed.

–  Responsibility for a data concerning authorship and participation of the others lies with corresponding Author.
