Peer Review Process

Each paper is reviewed using the following procedure:

  1. Review by the Editor; if it is judged suitable for the publication, then: It is sent to two reviewers for double blind peer review.
  2. Based on their recommendations, the Editors then decides whether the paper should be accepted as is, revised or rejected.
  3. The Editors may vary this process in some circumstances.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Statement of the Ethical Principles of International Journal of Synergy and Research

The Editorial Board of the International Journal of Synergy and Research performs the selection of the papers based on ethical standards recommended by the COPE (based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors). All the articles submitted for publication in International Journal of Synergy and Research are peer reviewed for authenticity, ethical issues and usefulness. Editorial Board of the International Journal of Synergy and Research expects ethical behaviour for all parties involved in publishing (the author, the journal editor and the editorial board, the reviewers and the publisher) at every stage of the publication of the article. To ensure high quality of published texts, the International Journal of Synergy and Research shall adhere to certain ethical standards.

DUTIES OF EDITORS

-  The Editorial Team of International Journal of Synergy and Research is monitoring the ethical standards of publications.

-  Received manuscripts are evaluated only for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, citizenship, etc.

-  Editorial Team must ensure that all manuscripts submitted to the journal remain confidential while under review.

-  Unpublished materials disclosed in the submitted manuscript must not be used by the editor and the editorial committee in their own research without written consent of authors.

-  Plagiarism and fraudulent data is not acceptable.

-  The decision to accept or reject the article for publication is based on its relevance to the scope of the journal, importance, originality, and clarity.

-  The publication could be retracted if: the findings are unreliable, result of misconduct or experimental (calculation) error; it has previously been published elsewhere; it constitutes plagiarism.


DUTIES OF REVIEWERS

-   Reviewers should not accept evaluating manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.

-   Selected reviewer that is unqualified to review the assigned manuscript should notify the editor and excuse himself/herself from the review process.

-   All manuscript and supplementary files received for review must be treated as confidential documents.

-   Reviewers assist the editor in making editorial decisions and may also help authors to improve their articles.

-   Significant similarity between the manuscript under consideration and any other published paper should be reported by reviewer to the editor.

-   Reviews should be conducted objectively and contain clear remarks with appropriate supporting arguments, personal criticism is not allowed.

 

DUTIES OF AUTHORS

-  The paper should contain sufficient details and references to permit others to replicate the work.

-  Plagiarism and fraudulent data is not acceptable.

-  Unethical behaviour may cause rejection or retraction of a manuscript or a published article.

-  Authors must give the proper acknowledgment of the work of others.

-  If the authors have used the work and/or words of others they need to be cited or quoted.

-  Authors may be asked to provide the raw data for editorial review and should be prepared to retain such data for a reasonable time after publication of their paper.

-  Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently is unacceptable.

-  When the author discovers a significant error in own published work, he/her should  to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.

-  Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the manuscript, all contributors should be listed as co-authors.

-  The corresponding author should ensure that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the manuscript and have agreed to its submission for publication.
