Full Professor of Humanities, political scientist and religious scholar, Vice-President of the Research Committee 21 Political Socialization and Education International Political Science Association (IPSA), Head of the Department of Political Movements and Ethnical Research at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS), editor-in-chief of „Annales UMCS, sectio K: Politologia”. She deals with issues of contemporary social thought, political movements, religion and politics, direct democracy, marketing, security and international relations. Author of five monographs; editor and co-editor of several scientific books on European integration, populism, direct democracy, social thought of the great world religions, hactivism, new social movements, feminism, ecology. Head of several research grants financed by, among others, European Cooperation in Science & Technology (COST), International Visegrad Fund, National Science Centre (NCN).
