Abstract

This article deals with the legal status of The National Polish Bank, considering 15 years of The Polish Constitution existence. According to constitutional regulation, the central bank and its organs became one of the most important elements of state’s constitutional system.
Although the legal status of The National Polish Bank has changed significantly since The Constitution came into force, the current state cannot be recognised as a final one. During the mentioned period of time, the Statute of The National Polish Bank was issued.
