Focus and Scope

Teka Comission of Political Science and International Affairs is the scientific, reviewed magazine created and based on the cooperation with Polish Academy of Sciences, Lublin agency.

Currently Teka is a magazine of political profile in the field of international affairs and political science.

Teka publishes high – standard,original papers, with relevant theoretical and analytical study, monographic and comparative works which are aimed to present new and controversial issues, critical reviews, reports and announcements.

The editors of the magazine stated several aims to be fulfilled : guaranteed, regular access for the reader ,the  researcher and the student to the current issues in the field of study of international affairs and political science. It is also aimed to integrate and to develop scientific cooperation in many fields  and to promote the intellectual information flow among scientists from the internal and the foreign research centers.

We hope that our magazine Teka Comission of Political Science and International Affairs will become the foundation for the scientific debates at the same time improving the process of internationalization of our academic network, which will include the analytics from Western and Eastern Europe, USA and Asia.

Peer Review Process

Review procedure is the following: submitted articles are evaluated by the Editorial Office, then they are reviewed by Reviewers unaffiliated with the Editorial Office, the faculty of the journal and the author’s university with at least a postdoctoral degree. The papers are reviewed according to double blind review process procedure which means that neither the Author, nor the Reviewer know each other’s identities. The Author is informed about the result of the review.

Publication Frequency

From 2 to 3 jurnals are published yearly.

The authors are asked to send articles continuously.

Publishers do not charge for publishing the article.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Publication ethics and publication malpractice statement

TEKA Commission of Political Science and International Affairs is committed to upholding the ethical standards of scientific publications and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. The journal publishers endorse the principles of transparency and good practice established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

TEKA Commission of Political Science and International Affairs prevents ghost-writing, guest authorship and honorary authorship in academic research. All parties who have made a substantive contribution to the paper should be listed as authors. Principal authorship, authorship order and other publication credits should be based on the relative scientific or professional contributions of the individuals involved. Those who contributed to the work but do not meet the authorship criteria can be mentioned in the Acknowledgments. The principal author must be prepared to sign the copyright agreement on behalf of all the authors. The signed agreement and declaration of authorship should be attached to the submission.

When submitting an original text to the TEKA Commission of Political Science and International Affairs, the authors accept customary practice of the scientific community: they shall submit only original works, which are not subject to evaluation process by other journals. Similarly, the original texts submitted to the journal shall not be sent to other publishers while the evaluation process carried out by our journal has not been completed. The authors must comply with the international regulations concerning copyright of the texts, images and other materials included in their works submitted for publication. TEKA Commission of Political Science and International Affairs prevents copyright infringement, plagiarism and other breaches of best practice in publication. Plagiarism is not acceptable and plagiarized content will not be considered for publication. If plagiarism is identified, the TEKA Commission of Plitical Science and International Affairs  follows the COPE plagiarism guidelines. If plagiarism is detected during the peer review process, the paper may be rejected. If plagiarism is detected after publication, the TEKA Commission of Political Science and International Affairs may issue a correction or retract the paper, as appropriate.
