Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

The journal publishes original scientific papers. All words are rewieved by specialists
unaffiliated with the authors’ universities. All articles to be published in Teka should be submitted through the panel of the editorial office. General and technical guidelines.

  1. Length including tables, figures and photos should not exceed 12 pages of A4 format.
  2. Style – Times New Roman (TNR) 12 pts., 1.5 line spacing, italics and bold can be used for emphasis, do not use other types of emphasis.
  3. Size of tables and figures cannot exceed B-5 format (12.5 cm x 19.5 cm); captions font TNR 10 pts., table content font 10 pts., single spacing, file format for tables – doc. or rtf.
Layout:

  1. Title in Polis or English (if English is the language of the article, this applies to summary and key words).
  2. Summary (300 to 500 characters).
  3. Key words – up to 6 key words.
  4. Main body should include: introduction, material and methodology, results, discussion, conclusion (or summary), and references.
  5. Title, abstract (300–500 characters) as a translation of summary and key words in English, as well as references.
  6. Titles of tables, their content, captions of figures and legends must be given in Polish and Ensligh, numbers written in Arabic digits.
Units – international SI system applies, e.g. g·dm-3 (not g/dm3).
References – when making references to other authors, put their name(s) and year of publication in square brackets, e.g. [Chełkowski 1966].
List of References shall be alphabetically ordered: name(s) of author(s), name initial(s), year of publication (if there is more than one publication by the same author in one year, add a, b, c, etc. to following publications); title; publisher; place of publishing; issue; pages, e.g.

Papers in English: title should be in English, French or German and the original language of publication shoul be provided, e.g. (in Polish), (in Russian) etc.

The Author submits two copies of the article. After receiving the review, the Author sends back the article with comments, the article with included changes along with a CD version of the article and a comment to the Reviewer’s and Editor’s guidelines. The main part of the article (summary, main body and references) should be in one file. Tables, figures and other addenda should be additionally saved in separate files. The Editorial Office has the right to make changes and propose changes that have been discussed with the author. All graphic material should be submitted as separate files in formats supported by Windows such as Excel, Corel Draw, Photoshop.


The Author is obliged to transfer copyright to the publisher and submit a declaration stating that the paper has not been published in any other journal. The authors of the articles will receive a free copy of the journal volume

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal. Additionally, you have ready to attach with your article signed percentage of author`s work declaration.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
