Zhen Fu, Dr. philol., is a senior lecturer in Foreign Languages and Literature Department at the Changsha University of Science and Technology. Her research interests include translation theory and practice, TESOL and applied linguistics. Her doctoral thesis entitled “On Eileen Chang’s Self-translation in the Perspective of Feminist Narratology” confirms the explanatory power of feminist narratology on translation studies based on the case study of “Jinsuo Ji” and its self-tranlsated texts, as well as offers solutions for improving the dissemination and acceptance of female texts.
