An Analysis of the Chances, Opportunities and Challenges Connected with Utilization of Cloud Computing and Big Data as Convergent Technologies

Abstract


This paper is devoted to the issues connected with the possibilities of common utilization of two technologies i.e. cloud computing and Big Data. These aspects have been analyzed from two perspectives. The first one is related to the possibilities of creation and implementation of the cloud-based Big Data analytical systems. The second one is connected with the utilization of new cloud-based business models and their improvement and development basing on Big Data analytical systems based on cloud solutions. The most significant challenges have been identified in the context of each technology as well as in the context of their common utilization.
