Verónica Del Valle Cacela is Lecturer in Spanish Studies in the Department of Modern Languages at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. She hold a B.A. in Translation and Interpreting (University of Granada), a M.A. in Specialized Translation (University of Cordoba) and another one in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language (University of Minho), and a double PhD in Translation (University of Malaga and University of Bologna). Her doctoral thesis was related to create resources for legal translators and interpreters working with Spanish and Italian languages. Her research interests include Contrastive Analysis especially between Spanish and Italian languages, Didactics of Translation and Interpreting, Teaching of Spanish as a Second Language by using Pedagogical Translation, Legal Lexicography, Legal Translation and Interpreting.
