May Chehab is Professor of French and Comparative Literature at the University of Cyprus. She has held a Visiting Research Fellowship at the Institute of Advanced Studies of the University of Cergy-Pontoise, a Stanley J. Seeger Visiting Fellowship at the University of Princeton and a Jean Monnet Professorship in European History at the University of Cyprus.
