Marcella Leopizzi is Researcher of French Literature at the University of Salento, Italy. She has a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in French Studies and in 2013 she obtained the National Scientific Habilitation as Associate Professor. Her main research interests focus above all on the 1600s (Charles Sorel and the libertine movement) and contemporary poetry (Henri Meschonnic and Eugène Guillevic). She is the author of six monographs and of serveral essays. Her works have been published in Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Poland, Romania, Argentina, Canada and the United States.
