Konfratrzy świeccy kanoników regularnych Grobu Bożego w Jerozolimie (1099–1187)
Streszczenie w języku polskim
Artykuł dotyczy identyfikacji konfratrów świeckich kanoników regularnych Grobu Bożego w Jerozolimie. W toku przeprowadzonej analizy została ustalona tożsamość co najmniej 24 członków konfraterni, zarówno mężczyzn (16), jak i kobiet (8). Współbracia jerozolimskich bożogrobców rekrutowali się ze wszystkich, łacińskich, warstw społeczeństwa Outremer, a wśród nich można wskazać członków rodziny królewskiej, największych wasali Królestwa Jerozolimy oraz przedstawicieli burgesses i drobnego rycerstwa. W artykule wykazano, że rozwój ilościowy konfraterni kapituły Grobu Bożego następował stopniowo od lat dwudziestych i trzydziestych XII w., po tym, gdy kanonicy przyjęli zasady życia wspólnotowego zgodnego z regułą św. Augustyna. Rozwój zgromadzenia, jak i związanego z nim bractwa religijnego, przerwał konflikt z Saladynem i utrata Jerozolimy. Na podstawie zaprezentowanej analizy przybliżono obraz społeczeństwa oraz kultury religijnej i politycznej Outremer w latach 1099–1187.
