Zewnętrzna lokalizacja kontroli jako mediator związku neurotyczności i zachowań prokrastynacyjnych studentów

Streszczenie w języku polskim


Zagadnienie prokrastynacji, rozumianej jako nieuzasadnione odkładanie wykonania koniecznych zadań, budzi zainteresowanie wielu badaczy. Sugerują oni, że jest to zjawisko powszechne w populacji osób studiujących. Prezentowane badania mają na celu określenie roli czynnika umiejscowienie kontroli w relacji między cechami osobowości a prokrastynacją. Uczestnikami badań było 62 studentów II roku, reprezentujących trzy kierunki studiów. Przeprowadzone analizy mediacyjne pokazują złożony charakter zjawiska. Stwierdzono, że umiejscowienie kontroli pozwala na przewidywanie zachowań prokrastynacyjnych i może być ważnym mediatorem między neurotycznością a prokrastynacją w wymiarze ogólnym.
